The Firm

Jump, Perry and Company, L.L.P. was founded in 1979 by Donald E. Jump, CPA. JPC’s philosophy is simply to meet the needs of their clients and provide them with the highest quality of professional service possible. In order to implement this philosophy, JPC must maintain an excellent system of client communication and retain highly skilled professionals.

To meet these objectives, the firm takes a great deal of time in selecting the right people. We seek professionals who we perceive as well rounded and highly motivated with good communication skills. All professionals in our firm are academically qualified to be certified public accountants. All CPAs in our firm are members of both the New Jersey State Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. We stress continuing education, on the job training, professional associations and community involvement.

Our Firm maintains two offices in the State of New Jersey. We are licensed in several other states and meet the requirements of mobility in all states that offer that alternative. Quality Control

The Firm is a member of the Public Companies Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). This is a voluntary section dedicated to the maintenance of the highest professional ethics and standards. Members are required to undergo periodic “peer reviews” by other accounting professionals to ascertain that their performance is of the highest caliber required by the profession. Peer Reviews assess the Firms system of Quality Control and includes an assessment of Leadership Responsibilities, Ethical Requirements, Acceptance and Continuation of Client Relationships, Human Resources, Engagement Performance and Monitoring.

The Firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and several quality centers within the AICPA that demonstrates our commitment to excellence, including the Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC), the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center (EBPAQC) and the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS). We are also members of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) and the Affordable Housing Association of CPAS (AHACPA).
